Nine games into his time spent as the Buccaneers head coach, Bruce Arians is still undecided about the biggest question that looms over his team.
By now if you're a Buccaneers fan you know that one of the main reasons why Arians took the head coach job with the team was because of the opportunity to coach quarterback Jameis Winston. And in the midst of the 2019 season, there have been times where Winston has flourished under Arians & offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, including a four game stint between week two & week five where Winston threw 10 touchdowns & just two interceptions. But Winston followed that impressive stretch with their London fiasco where Winston turned the ball over six times against the Carolina Panthers.
Arians met with the media on Monday following the team's comeback win over the Arizona Cardinals, ending the Buccaneers four game losing streak. The game featured a game-winning 92 play drive led by Winston in under two minutes to overcome a four point deficit. Winston threw for 358 yards on Sunday & is on pace to throw for over forty eight hundred yards. But when Arians was asked if he has decided on the future of the team's quarterback position, the head coach stated the decision is still on-going.
