After his team was affected by an inadvertent whistle for the second time in their last three games, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians has a message for those responsible for making those calls.
Arians spoke with the media for over 10 minutes on Monday, one day after the team lost their third straight game. The head coach discussed various subjects including the team's poor performance on both sides of the ball in the redzone area. He also explained how he should have vetoed some of the offensive play calls in their loss in Nashville against the Titans on Sunday. But his opening comments addressed an inadvertent whistle during the Titans' fake field goal that could have resulted in a game-changing special teams touchdown for the Buccaneers. And the coach didn't spare any thoughts when it came to the officials whose inadvertent whistles, in two games this year, have caused the Buccaneers special team takeaways.
