Bucs Young Receivers Ready To Step Up If Needed

The Buccaneers top two receivers are off to a great start this season but this Sunday in New Orleans against the Saints, the team's younger receivers may be pressed into action.

Buccaneers wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who is the team's third wide receiver, suffered a hamstring injury early in the game against the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday. And because Perriman has not practiced either of the first two days of this week, it's likely that he will not be available for this coming Sunday, which will mean young wide receivers like Justin Watson & Scotty Miller will get a huge opportunity to help the team record their third road win of the year.

The man in charge of using those young wide receivers in the game plan is offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, who met with the media on Thursday.
