Veterans Report To Buccaneers Training Camp

The veterans reported to training camp on Wednesday, with the first official practice taking place on Thursday.  Three players met with the media, beginning with Buccaneers guard Ali Marpet.  Entering his contract year with the team, he talked about his versatility, his expectations for this 2018 team, and offered his support of quarterback Jameis Winston as he comes back from a suspension.  Click below to hear his full comments.


Veteran Mike Evans was the second to take the podium.  He minced no words saying he believed he was an elite receiver and that the Buccaneers receiving corps was as good as any in the league.  He also addressed the Jameis Winston suspension, explaining why he was hurt by it, and compared what the differences are for a receiver between Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick.  Hear his full comments by clicking below.
