The Florida Panthers (17-13-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (18-12-3) 5-2 on Monday night at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa. It was the second straight loss for Tampa Bay.
Sam Reinhart scored twice to lead the Panthers to the win. Tampa Bay got goals from JJ Moser and Max Crozier in the losing effort - for Crozier, it was his first NHL goal. Sergei Bobrovsky went 26-for-28 in net for the Panthers to get the win - Jonas Johansson took the loss in net for Tampa Bay going 19-for-24.
The Lightning are next in action when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Puck drop from Benchmark International Arena is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday night.
