The Tampa Bay Lightning (23-15-3) defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins (18-19-8) 5-2 on Sunday evening in Pittsburgh. The Lightning bounced back in the second night of a back-to-back after falling to the Devils in New Jersey on Saturday night.
Nikita Kucherov scored twice, including the game winner with 3:03 to go in the game - he finished with three points in the game. Anthony Cirelli, Brandon Hagel and Nick Paul also had goals in this game.
The Lightning now travel to Boston where they will take on the Bruins on Tuesday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Bruins is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Tuesday night.
