The Tampa Bay Lightning (8-6-1) defeated the Winnipeg Jets (15-2-0) 4-1 on Thursday night at Amalie Arena. The win snapped a four-game skid for Tampa Bay.
Andrei Vasilevskiy became the fastest goalie in history to reach 300 NHL wins, and the team got their thanks to two goals from Jake Guentzel. The Lightning also got goals from Brandon Hagel and Anthony Cirelli.
The Lightning are next in action when they host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. Puck drop from Amalie Arena is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday.
