The Tampa Bay Lightning (4-2-0) defeated the New Jersey Devils (5-3-1) 8-5 on Tuesday night in Newark, New Jersey. The win snaps Tampa Bay's losing skid at two games.
Brandon Hagel had a natural hat trick in the second period for the third hat trick of his career. Victor Hedman added two goals, while Anthony Cirelli had four assists for the Lightning in the win.
The Lightning now return home for a three-game homestand beginning against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Wild is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday at Amalie Arena.
