The Tampa Bay Lightning (23-17-5) defeated the Minnesota Wild (18-21-5) 7-3 on Thursday night at Amalie Arena. It was the fourth straight win for Tampa Bay, while Minnesota has lost five of six.
Victor Hedman had a goal and three assists, while Brayden Point had two goals and an assist in the victorious effort. Nikita Kucherov added three assists, while Andrei Vasilevskiy went 30-for-33 in net to pick up the win.
The Lightning now head on the road for the next three, which begins in Buffalo on Saturday. Puck drop between the Lightning and Sabres is scheduled for 12:30 PM on Saturday afternoon.
