The Tampa Bay Lightning (14-12-5) defeated the Edmonton Oilers (13-13-1) 7-4 on Thursday night in Edmonton.
Steven Stamkos scored on the power play in the first - his 200th career power play goal - to put the Lightning on the board. After Tampa Bay built a 2-0 lead in the first period, Edmonton scored three goals in the second to take a 3-2 lead into the final frame.
The Lightning erupted four five goals in the third period to win this game - three of them from Steven Stamkos for his first career four-goal game. Andrei Vasilevskiy made a remarkable 53 saves in the win.
The Lightning wrap up their Western Canada trip when they go to Calgary on Saturday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Flames is scheduled for 10:00 PM on Saturday evening.
