The Tampa Bay Lightning (1-2-0) fell to the Ottawa Senators (2-1-0) 5-2 on Sunday night in Ottawa.
Anthony Cirelli and Tanner Jeannot scored to account for the Lightning's offense on the game. Matt Tomkins got the start in net, and saved 33 of the 37 shots he faced in the losing effort.
The Lightning now head to Buffalo where they will play the Sabres in the final game of a three-game series on Tuesday night. Puck drop from Buffalo is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening.
