The Tampa Bay Lightning (28-13-1) defeated the Seattle Kraken (26-13-4) 4-1 on Monday afternoon in the Pacific Northwest. The win snaps Seattle's eight game winning streak, and gave the Bolts four wins in a row.
The Lightning used a three-goal outburst in the third period to pick up the victory, getting goals from Nick Paul, Brandon Hagel and Victor Hedman in that frame. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare provided the Lightning's other goal in the first period.
Andrei Vasilevskiy got the win in net, converting 22 saves on 23 shots against.
The Lightning next head to Vancouver where they will play the Canucks on Wednesday night. Puck drop from Vancouver is scheduled for 10:00 PM ET on Wednesday evening.
