The Tampa Bay Lightning (17-9-1) defeated the Florida Panthers (12-11-4) 4-1 on Saturday night at Amalie Arena.
Pat Maroon had the first goal of the game at the 8:40 mark of the first period. After Zac Dalpe scored for Florida to tie the game in the second, Tampa Bay pulled away in the third.
Brayden Point, Mikhail Sergachev and Steven Stamkos all scored in the third period as the Lightning pulled away to a 4-1 win. For Steven Stamkos, it gave him points in 13 straight games.
Andrei Vasilevskiy saved 24 shots on 25 attempts to pick up the win in net for Tampa Bay.
The Lightning return to action when they host the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night. Puck drop between Tampa Bay and Seattle is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Amalie Arena.
