The Tampa Bay Lightning (11-6-2) defeated the Nashville Predators (8-8-2) 3-2 on Saturday night in Nashville.
Nikita Kucherov scored on the power play at the 4:25 mark of the second period to tie the game 1-1. After the Predators took a 2-1 lead early in the third, Alex Killorn answered with the equalizer at the 16:39 mark of the third to tie the game 2-2.
Steven Stamkos came through with the game winner in overtime, with assists from Kucherov and Brayden Point. Andrei Vasilevskiy went 30-for-32 in net for Tampa Bay to pick up the win.
The Lightning return home on Monday night to play the Boston Bruins on Monday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Bruins is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Amalie Arena on Monday night.
