The Tampa Bay Lightning (39-15-6) defeated the Seattle Kraken (18-38-6) 4-1 on Wednesday night in Seattle.
Former Bolt Yanni Gourde scored early in the game for Seattle, but Nikita Kucherov tied the game 1-1 later in the first. The Lightning got a goal from Victor Hedman in the second and Anthony Cirelli early in the third period to take a 3-1 lead.
The Bolts were able to put the game away when Victor Hedman set a career high with his 17th goal of the season on the power play at the 14:26 mark of the third period.
Andrei Vasilevskiy picked up the win in net, going 24-for-25.
The Lightning now return home after a six game road trip out west. They will next be in action when they host the New York Rangers on Saturday night. Puck drop from Amalie Arena will be at 8 PM on Saturday - pregame coverage begins at 7:00 PM on News Radio WFLA.
