The Tampa Bay Lightning (38-15-6) defeated the Vancouver Canucks (29-24-7) 2-1 late Sunday night in Vancouver.
The Lightning got two goals in the first period - from Victor Hedman and Ross Colton - and that would be all that Tampa Bay would need.
Andrei Vasilevskiy went 35-for-36 in net to pick up the win - the only goal he allowed was when former Bolt JT Miller scored in third period.
The Lightning continue their road trip out west when they go to Seattle to take on the Kraken on Wednesday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 PM on Wednesday - pregame coverage begins at 9:30 PM on News Radio WFLA.
