Ross Colton scored twice and the Tampa Bay Lightning (28-10-5) blew out the San Jose Sharks (21-19-2) 7-1 late Saturday night in San Jose.
The Lightning scored early and often to take control of this game in the first period. Ross Colton, Steven Stamkos, Mathieu Joseph and Corey Perry all scored in the first period that gave Tampa Bay a 4-1 lead going into the first intermission.
