The Tampa Bay Lightning (14-5-4) defeated the Boston Bruins (12-8-1) 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night in Boston.
The Lightning scored first when Taylor Raddysh came up with his first NHL goal in the first period. Ondrej Palat made it 2-0 early in the second period, but the Bruins rallied back. Charlie Coyle pulled the Bruins within 2-1 with a goal late in the second period, then Curtis Lazar scored early in the third to tie the game.
From there, the Lightning held the Bruins out of the goal, as Andrei Vasilevskiy got 37 saves on 39 shots in this game. When the game went to overtime, it would be Steven Stamkos coming up with the game winner to give the Bolts a 3-2 win and earn a second point.
The Lightning now travel to Philadelphia to play the Flyers on Sunday night. Puck drop Sunday night is scheduled for 6:00 PM - pregame coverage begins at 5:30 PM on News Radio WFLA.
