The Tampa Bay Lightning (4-3-1) defeated the Arizona Coyotes (0-6-1) 5-1 on Thursday night at Amalie Arena. The win gives Tampa Bay their first win at home of the 2021-2022 season.
The Lightning Got two first period goals from Alex Killorn, 2:01 apart, to build a 2-0 lead. Steven Stamkos added on later in the first, and Alex Barre-Boulet got his first goal in the second period, as the Lightning would go on to a convincing 5-1 win over Arizona.
Andrei Vasilevsky went 24-for-25 in net for the Lightning to pick up the win, while Arizona goalie Ivan Prosvetov went 23-for-28 in net in the losing effort.
The Lightning will next be in action when they host the Washington Capitals at Amalie Arena on Monday night. Puck drop Monday is scheduled for 7:00 PM - pregame coverage begins at 6:00 PM on News Radio WFLA.
