The Tampa Bay Lightning (26-10-2) fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets (14-18-8) 4-2 on Tuesday night in Columbus.
The Blue Jackets struck first in the first period with a goal from Zac Dalpe, before Jack Roslovic scored early in the second period to make it 2-0. Columbus took control in the third period with goals from Max Domi and Nick Foligno before Ross Colton scored to pull within 4-1. Luke Schenn added a goal to make it 4-2 but that would be as close as the Lightning could get.
Andrei Vasilevskiy took the loss in net, going 26-for-29 in net for Tampa Bay, while Joonas Korpisalo got the win for Columbus, going 36-for-38 in net.
The Lightning remain in Columbus and will meet the Blue Jackets again on Thursday night - puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 on News Radio WFLA.
