TAMPA (WDAE) -- Cedric Paquette has not seen the ice since injuring his arm in a preseason contest against the Florida Panthers, but that appears to be changing this evening.
Lightning head coach Jon Cooper gave the indication after morning skate Wednesday that the forward would make his season debut against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Amalie Arena.
"There's a good chance he will," Cooper said.
Paquette will look to build off a career year in 2018-19, when he played in 80 games and scored 13 goals while amassing 80 penalty minutes.
Tampa Bay starts a stretch where they will play Metropolitan Division teams four of the next five games beginning with tonight's matchup the Penguins.
