Nashville Predators to Have Tampa Bay Lightning "Smash Boat" in Parking Lot

The Nashville Predators know that it's not a good idea to play with electricity, and to make sure they're safe in a Lightning storm, but they might have done the next best thing, all for a great cause, before the Stadium Series game on Saturday.

From 1-6 pm on Saturday, fans have the opportunity to take a swing at the Predators' Smash Boat, which is adorned in Tampa Bay Lightning colors, as well as the team's lightning bolt logo. The boat is located in Lot R of the Nissan Stadium parking lot.

While we understand this is geared toward Predators fans, for $5 (or $10 for three swings), you have the opportunity to take out whatever rage you might have building inside you by taking a swing at the smash boat with a sledgehammer. Proceeds will benefit the Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub.

For Bolts fans who happen to be there and are reading this, your voices are necessary to try and prevent those rowdy Predators fans from completely destroying this attempt at a symbol for your local hockey team.

Then again, someone could get hurt trying to destroy a Tesla coil.
