On Thursday's Beckles & Recher show, Ian Beckles asked our audience how they might be able to solve inequality in the NFL coaching ranks, and our listeners lit up the phone lines and did not hold back their opinions. While there were some interesting remarks from our callers, we basically came to the conclusion that it boils down to an owner trusting a person to be the face of a franchise, and in that good-ol'-boy network of NFL owners, many are hesitant to give that responsibility to a black person, Rooney Rule or not.
