Tampa Bay Lightning's Steven Stamkos Voted in to All-Star Game in Vegas

The National Hockey League announced today that Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos (Atlantic), Colorado Avalanche center Nazem Kadri (Central), New York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad (Metropolitan) and Anaheim Ducks right wing Troy Terry (Pacific) have won the final roster spots for the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend as a result of voting in the 2022 NHL All-Star Last Men In.

However, Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Jake Guentzel – who finished second in the Metropolitan Division voting – will replace Zibanejad, who cannot attend due to personal reasons.

Fans worldwide were able to cast their votes at NHL.com and via the NHL App from a group of 32 All-Star caliber players – one from each NHL team, determined by the League’s Hockey Operations Department. Fans were permitted to select as few as one player and a maximum of four players per ballot.

This will be Stamkos' seventh All-Star appearance, which is a team record.

All-Star Weekend will be February 4 and 5 in Las Vegas.
