Tampa Bay Rays Named Baseball America's Organization of the Year

Let's just forget what the major-league club in Tampa Bay accomplished this year.

It's how the Rays' minor-league clubs performed in 2021 that spurred the respected Baseball America to name the Tampa Bay Rays the winners of the coveted Organization of the Year award for 2021.

Rays affiliates in Bowling Green, Charleston, Montgomery and Durham, not to mention the Florida Complex Rookie League Rays, combined for the season with a .653 winning percentage, with three championships and a near-miss. That's the highest winning percentage on record going back more than 30 years.

When you introduce the success of the parent club into the equation, the outcome was a no-brainer.

Congratulations, and RaysUp!
