WATCH: Don't Bother With Any Voting, as We Have Our NHL Goal of the Year

You can retire the award for the 2021-22 NHL goal of the year, because it happened Tuesday night in Buffalo as the Sabres hosted the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim forward Trevor Zegras picked up a loose puck behind the Sabres' net, casually lifted the puck off the ice on the blade of his stick, and tossed a pass over the Buffalo net to Ducks forward Sonny Milano, who swatted the puck out of the air and past Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for the incredible goal!

The goal gave the Ducks their first goal of the game in a 2-0 win over Buffalo.
