On Thursday, we get a quick visit from Julie Weintraub, CEO and Founder of Hands Across Tampa Bay, who is announcing the grand opening of the Hands Across the Bay Donation and Empowerment Center! The new center, renovated from the Original Gold & Diamond Source building, will be a place where individuals and children overcoming crisis, survivors of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking and others facing hardships can come to receive items and services free of charge. Hands Across the Bay also plans to host classes, groups and other fun activities to empower victims to become survivors and connect with others. The Center includes a Women’s Boutique, Men’s Closet, Children’s Department, Baby Area, Food Pantry, Personal Care/Household Items and more!
