TNT Announces Talent Lineup for the 2021-22 NHL Season

One of our all-time favorite guests, Jackie Redmond, will be part of the new NHL on TNT broadcast team, which was announced Tuesday.

Leading the way in the studio will be Liam McHugh, who led the NHL on NBC's studio. He'll be joined by the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, Anson Carter, Rick Tocchet and Paul Bissonette.

TNT's lead play-by-play announcer is Kenny Albert, who has done a wonderful job taking over for Doc Emrick as the lead national television voice for the league. He'll team up with Ed Olczyk on the lead team, while the second team will be manned by New York Islanders' TV play-by-play voice Brendan Burke and veteran analyst Darren Pang. Keith Jones will be behind the glass on select broadcasts.

Rounding out the team of contributors are Jennifer Botterill and Tarik El-Bashir.

We would be remiss if we didn't include a tweet from Jackie with the announcement.

TNT’s inaugural NHL coverage starts Wednesday, October 13, with a doubleheader: The New York Rangers visit the Capitals in DC, followed by the Chicago Blackhawks at the Colorado Avalanche.
