Beckles & Recher have the pleasure of chatting with Tampa Bay Rowdies defender Jordan Scarlett as he prepares to play his former team, the New York Red Bulls II on Friday. Though the Rowdies are in a bit of a slump, having lost four of their last five, the team recently met to discuss the issues and the result of that meeting: getting back to those fundamentals. Jordan understands his role, especially on set pieces, where defenders are looking to score, and Jordan is working his way to getting into better positions in order to up the defenders' offensive capability. However, Jordan says the prime goal on defense is to have a clean sheet, meaning the opponent doesn't score for 90 minutes. All that and MORE!
