Tampa Bay Lightning Injuries Revealed After Run to the Stanley Cup

Our friend and Lightning Insider Erik Erlendsson reports that key players for the Tampa Bay Lightning suffered some major injuries during the Bolts' quest for the Stanley Cup.

In addition to losing Alex Killorn to a broken leg, and the broken rib we all knew happened to Nikita Kucherov from that vicious cross-check by the New York Islanders' Scott Mayfield, Lightning GM Julien BriseBois on Tuesday said that star defenseman Victor Hedman is undergoing knee surgery today to repair a torn meniscus, and that defenseman Ryan McDonagh and forward Barclay Goodrow both suffered broken hands.

Proving once again that there's no athlete tougher than a hockey player.

Erik will join Ian and Jay on Wednesday to recap everything from the Lightning's Stanley Cup victory!
