The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Monday that Tuesday's scheduled game with the Cleveland Indians is postponed and will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Wednesday. Game 1 starts at 12:10 p.m., with gates opening at 10:40 a.m.; game 2 will start about 30 minutes after the conclusion of game 1.
Major League Baseball and the Rays agreed to adjust the schedule due to the timing of the arrival of Tropical Storm Elsa in the Tampa Bay region.
Fans will receive credit for tickets from Tuesday's game; check raysbaseball.com or check your Rays ticket account for more information. Additionally, the Austin Meadows bobblehead day promotion has been moved to July 20th against the Baltimore Orioles.
