Ian and Jay welcome Karen Sparkman, a vice president of customer experience for TECO and People's Gas for a quick discussion about TECO's partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning on TECO's Share program titled "Share With Our Veterans," that runs through the end of July. The Share Program, in partnership with the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities, provides assistance in paying utility bills for those in need. The program supports 31 veterans, one for each day of the month, in the Tampa Bay community by funding their monthly utility bills. One veteran will be selected each day during the month of July. Potential recipients are being identified with assistance from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and Tampa Crossroads, a local charity.
