The Brandon Velocity girls' softball team has qualified for a trip to the Babe Ruth 12-and-under World Series, but the team may not be able to attend due to the cost of the trip, and we are asking our listeners to help in any way they can to let these girls live out their dreams!
The 10-day event takes place from July 18-27 at Treasure Coast, FL, and many of the families cannot afford the event due to the length and the costs of hotel rooms and food.
So the team has set up a GoFundMe page where it is soliciting donations to help the girls play in the tournament. The team is set up as a 501(c)(3) organization, so any donation you make is tax deductible.
