Lightning to Play Their First-Ever Outdoor Game in Nashville Next February!

The National Hockey League announced next season's outdoor games and All-Star venue for the 2021-2022 season, and the Tampa Bay Lightning will play their first-ever outdoor game as part of the Stadium Series in Nashville against the Predators.

The 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will take place at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The team's first-ever outdoor game will make the Bolts the 27th NHL team to participate in a regular-season outdoor game.

Meanwhile, the NHL's annual Winter Classic will take place on its traditional January 1 date, with the Minnesota Wild hosting the St. Louis Blues at the home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field. This marks a rescheduling of the 2021 Winter Classic, which was postponed because of the pandemic.

The NHL All-Star weekend will happen at the home of the Vegas Golden Knights, T-Mobile Arena, and will be scheduled during its traditional midway point of the NHL regular season. The 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend will include the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills and the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game, and will feature various hockey-themed events, entertainment and activities. Dates for All-Star weekend will be made public when available.
