Let's Go Tampa Bay! Your Rays Need Some Help in All-Star Game Voting!

We are currently in Phase I of All-Star Game balloting for this year's summer classic at Coors Field in Denver on July 13th.

And right now, your major-league best Tampa Bay Rays are not represented among the top vote-getters in the American League.

The Rays player with the most amount of votes is outfielder Randy Arozarena, who ranks eighth overall among outfielders with 171,462 votes. The top nine outfielders with the most votes move onto Phase II, where you will be able to vote for starters. Catcher Mike Zunino is second on the team in votes with 91,513, but is currently sixth; the top three catchers move on to Phase II.

Phase I voting ends June 24th; Phase II voting begins June 28th, and runs through July 1st.

The top three from every other position (excluding outfielders and pitchers) move onto Phase II of voting.

Of the current Rays on the ballot, Ji-Man Choi is sixth among first basemen (61,969 votes), Brandon Lowe seventh among second basemen (42,980 votes), Joey Wendle eighth among shortstops (52,307 votes), and Austin Meadows is ninth among designated hitters (50,659 votes).

Once again, your votes can help our Rays players climb these lists; please vote here to show your support!
