Mickelson and Brady to Team Up Again vs. DeChambeau and Rodgers on July 6

PGA Championship winner Phil Mickelson returns with Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback and Super Bowl 55 MVP Tom Brady in this year's iteration of "The Match," set for July 6 at one of the country's most picturesque golf courses, Moonlight Basin, in Big Sky, Montana.

The twosome will face off against reigning U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Mickelson and Brady paired up in last May's event against Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning. The event is fondly remembered as one of the first sporting events to take place during the pandemic, as well as the memorable wedge Brady hit to hole out for a birdie on the seventh hole.

TNT will cover the event live starting at 5 pm, featuring open mikes on the competitors, allowing them to communicate with each other and the broadcasters. The event will include donations to Feeding America and other charities; last year's event raised $20 million for Covid relief.

As for the course, it sits at an elevation of about 7,500 feet, with a signature 777-yard 17th hole, which drops considerably from tee to green.
