While we don't have the who, where, when and why, this video is disturbing, to say the least.
In what looks to be a classic "Oklahoma" drill, two youth players, maybe around the age of eight, are ready to face off, one-on-one, ball carrier against defender. As the drill progresses, it's clear the defender has no chance from the outset, and gets flattened by the ball carrier from helmet-to-helmet contact. One of the coaches can be heard saying to the defender after the hit, "You're Good!"
It's not clear where or when the video was taken.
The video sparked outrage on social media; while very few people came out in favor of the drill, basically stating you have to start them young, a majority of commenters on Twitter said this type of drill has absolutely no place in youth football. We encourage you to read the comments from the initial tweet below. Many professional athletes - current and ex - and sports personalities provided their opinions on this cringe-inducing drill.
