Dave Parker Felt the Wrath of Being the First Million-Dollar Ballplayer

Beckles and Recher are honored to speak with I-don't-know-why-he's-not-in-the-hall-of-fame baseball legend Dave Parker about the release of his new memoir, "COBRA: A Life of Baseball and Brotherhood." Dave talks about how he got his nickname, and how Roberto Clemente influenced him as a young ballplayer. He also discusses the 1979 Pittsburgh Pirate World Series Championship team and how the closeness of the team was an important aspect of the team reaching its goal. Dave also talks about his battle with Parkinson's Disease, and how every day brings something different.
