The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly "zeroing in" on hiring Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their next head coach, which cannot be made official until after Super Bowl LX, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport on Sunday (February 1).

"The Raiders are zeroing in on Klint Kubiak as their next head coach, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Nothing can be finalized until after Super Bowl LX. But all signs are pointing towards Kubiak landing in Las Vegas," Pelissero wrote on his X account. "Klint Kubiak will coach with the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. Then, he’s expected to head to Las Vegas, which owns the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft."

Kubiak, 38, is in his first season with the Seahawks, leading the offense to the third-highest scoring offense (28.4 points per game) in the NFL and the eighth-highest total offense (351.4 yards per game) during the 2025 regular season. The veteran coach had previously worked as an offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints in 2024 and the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, as well as a passing game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023 and the Denver Broncos, which also included working as a quarterbacks coach, in 2022.

The Seahawks will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX next Sunday (February 8).
