Miami-Dade Commissioner Kionne McGhee is sponsoring a hurricane relief drive for our neighbors to the north. Spokeswoman Janie Olvera says residents are being asked to drop off supplies at the South Dade Government Center in Cutler Bay today, tomorrow and Sunday. They're collecting bottled water, batteries, packaged tarps and First Aid kits. The county is partnering with Farmshare to bring the supplies to the Panhandle and other hard-hit areas.
