The lone debate in Florida's Governor's race has been rescheduled.

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and Democrat Charlie Crist were originally scheduled to debate this week in Fort Pierce, but that was postponed due to Hurricane Ian relief efforts.

Organizers said they wanted to be sure all voters in the state would have the opportunity to watch the event.

We learned on Monday that the debate will take place in two weeks, on Monday, October 24.

It will be livestreamed and broadcast live on local TV stations across Florida.

The debate is being hosted by CBS 12 News in West Palm Beach and is the only debate to be held in the race.
