See: Mark Schlereth Explains Why Brady - Arians Rumors Are Hard To Believe

While the timing of Bruce Arians deciding to retire may seem odd, as Mark Schlereth perfectly lays out in this video, everything we know about Bruce Arians and Tom Brady should suggest that the rumors of Brady forcing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to push Arians out are pretty far fetched. It's not the craziest conspiracy that's ever been spun, but it's pretty hard to believe when you consider all of the relationships in play. Why would Brady try to force out a decorated coach he just won with? Would Todd Bowles really be part of a coup against a guy he considers a father figure and has known for over four decades? Rumors are rumors, but when men have proven who they are for decades, it's easier to trust them than it is whispers from people who aren't really in the know. Notice that the guy who's proven to have the best sources around Tom Brady over the past few years (Jeff Darlington) is one of the people to say he doesn't think there's anything to this story and that he believes Brady and Arians shared a good relationship. I'll believe him, Arians and Brady over people who weren't in the room any day. Notice what a guy like Mark Schlereth who knows the men involved believes. I think it speaks volumes. - Pat Donovan
