Call me crazy, but as much fun as we've had poking fun at Dave Portnoy and others for crying about Tom Brady's retirement announcement, I actually feel bad for Robert Kraft. Not because Brady left him out of his announcement, but because he's got ex-players like Teddy Johnson who will dime him out!
Sorry, but if a guy once kept me around an extra two years after the head coach wanted to get rid of me (as Johnson details here) I would have a little more respect for him than to characterize his actions as a temper tantrum. There are other ways to say what he said that doesn't make Kraft look like a lunatic, and it's just what I would have done if I had any love for the man. Kraft has his flaws like a lot of men, but it sure as hell looks like he cares about his players a lot, and this just seems like a low blow from a guy he obviously went to bat for.
