Comedian Bob Saget Found Dead In Orlando Hotel Room

According to TMZ, Bob Saget was found dead in his Orlando, Florida hotel room on Sunday January, 9th 2021. According to sources, Orange County, Florida Sheriff's Office and Fire Department responded to a call from the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando around 4pm. TMZ reports he was pronounced dead at the scene, but the cause of death has not been revealed, but according to Orange County Sheriff's Office, detectives say no signs of foul play, or drugs use.

The comedian and television star was performing a string of shows around Florida, including Jacksonville on Saturday night where he performed a 2 hour set at PV Concert Hall. Bob Saget talked to iHeartRadio's Monsters In The Morning on Real Radio 104.1 in Orlando on Friday 1/7/21 in which he talked about his time at the Legendary Comedy Store, the "bootcamp" you have to do to perform there and so many great memories.

On 1/9/2022, just after 4 p.m., deputies responded to the 4000 block of Central Florida Parkway (Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes) in response to a man down call. On arrival, they located a man who was unresponsive in a hotel room. The man, identified asRobert Lane Saget, (DOB: 5/17/1956), was pronounced deceased on scene. We have no information on cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. This is all the information we have for release at this time and we do not anticipate further updates. The Medical Examiner’s Office will ultimately determine cause and manner of death.
