Oakland A's star pitcher Chris Bassitt was carted off the field in the second inning against the White Sox after he was drilled in the head by a line drive.
It was a scary scene but thankfully the A's updated the world with some positive news on Bassitt. The A's tweeted that Bassitt was "conscious and aware" and was being taken to a local hospital.
