Florida State Blown Out By Miami 52-10

The Florida State Seminoles (0-2, 0-2) fell to the twelth-ranked Miami Hurricanes (3-0, 2-0) 52-10 on Saturday evening in Miami Gardens.

Miami used two first quarter touchdowns to build a 14-3 lead heading into the second quarter, but really took control of this game in the second quarter with a 24-point output to build a 3-3 halftime lead. From there Miami did not look back en route to the blowout win.

James Blackman went 16-for-26 with 120 yards, one touchdown and one interception at quarterback for the Seminoles, while D'Eriq King led the way for Miami going 29-for-40 for 267 yards and two touchdowns for the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes also added four rushing touchdowns - two from Cam'Ron Harris and two from Donald Chaney Jr - to set the pace in a blowout.

The Seminoles return to action on October 3rd when they play host to Jacksonville State. Kickoff from Tallahassee is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
