Dave Wills Says Bickering Over Money Could Be "Catastrophic For The Game"

You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who misses baseball more than Rays Radio broadcaster Dave Wills.

Dave joined Pat and Aaron on Tuesday and talked about how he was driving through his neighborhood the other day and saw a group of kids playing long toss, and had to suppress his urge to get out of the car and call the action of their throws.

But what hasn't been fun has been watching Major League Baseball's owners and players not be able to agree on a way to restart the game because the sides can't agree monetarily.

"If you don't play, it's going to be catastrophic for the sport," Dave told the Goons. "Especially if we don't play because we're bickering over money between owners and players. If we don't play because of the COVID-19 pandemic, that's a totally different thing, but it's not going to help."
