COVID-19 has made teams consider scenarios that you would never think of before the pandemic, including what a coach would do if their leader on offense came down with the coronavirus.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians, joined former NFL defensive end Chris Long on the latest episode of his podcast, and admitted that one scenario under consideration is that a backup quarterback would be quarantined outside of the facility for the entire season, meaning either backup Blaine Gabbert or Ryan Griffin would work out separate from the rest of his teammates.
