Reports surfaced Sunday that Jameis Winston was staying in the NFC South, nearing a one-year deal to head to New Orleans and back up Drew Brees with the Saints. Former Saints quarterback and radio host Bobby Hebert joined Pat and Aaron Monday to give us his thought as to why Winston would want to head to a team that has a future Hall of Famer starting and a young quarterback in Taysom Hill that just took a two-year deal earlier in the weekend.
Hebert told the guys he believes Winston is a "insurance policy" in case Brees goes down again to injury in 2020, and that Sean Payton and the coaching staff can get a similar performance out of Winston that they got from Teddy Bridgewater in 2019.
