Two Sick Holland America Ships Reportedly Docking At Port Everglades

Broward County still hammering out a deal with Carnival to set conditions for two Holland America ships with sick coronavirus patients to dock at Port Everglades. Commissioner Mark Bogen expects the deal to be signed this afternoon. It calls for giving masks to all passengers who are not showing signs of COVID-19 before transferring them to their flights home. About 45 people who are sick will be treated on the ships and 10 needing critical care will be taken to Broward Health. Four people have died aboard the Zaandam cruise which departed from Argentina March 7th.
